Maddy Reddy, Founder & CEO
Maddy began his career with technology reporting for Cyber Media India, India’s largest technology publishing firm at 19 – straight out of high-school. In 1999, he was the founding editor of ZDNet’s Indian operations, which was acquired by CNET in 2000 and subsequently by CBS Corporation in 2008. His work profile includes Associate Editor at Silicon India; News Editor at Lyceum Media; Technology Editor at ITP – the Middle East’s largest publishing firm and Managing Editor for IDG Middle East – the world’s largest IT publishing firm.He also helped set-up the MENA operations for Ramky Group,  the company’s first foray into international markets and served as their ‘GM-at-large’  for seven years. Ramky is a publicly-listed US$950 million environmental infrastructure services firm. Over the past 16 years, he has worked for leading media groups in Bangalore, Mumbai, London and Dubai. Maddy holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce and an MBA from Cardiff, UK. His hobbies include trivia, traveling, vintage comics, technology and reading.
Emile Cubeisy, Director
Emile has over 18 years of experience in technology, government and venture capital space. Emile also serves as Board Director of Silicon Badia, Oasis 500, Jeeran, Shoofee TV, Media Scope,  Gate2Play, Arab Media Holding, Dakwaak and NetCorps. He also serves as Vice President at Accelerator Technology Holdings (ATH) and CEO of IV Holdings (IVH) – the early stage investment arm of ATH. Prior to this, he served as the Director of ICT Promotion & Advisor to the Ministry of ITC, Jordan. Emile holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Southern California and was selected as a member of the Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum in 2006.

Ned S. Jaroudi
 Ned has 20+ years of startup/turnaround experience with SME’s, multinationals, and government, and is currently Innovation Advisor at the UAE Prime Minister’s Office. He’s been associated with many award-winning tech ventures in the US and the Middle East with successful exits to IBM, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, and Thomson Reuters (acquired Zawya in 2012). He has also been involved with several mentorship & acceleration programs for entrepreneurs such as SeedStartup, the SME Evolution Program, and the Arabia 500. In addition, Ned spent 11 years with IT blue chips Intel and CA, setting up and expanding their Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe operations, and 3 years helping to launch new ventures for Middle East giants such as Mubadala, du, and National Holding.He has a Master’s Degree from Stanford University and founded the UAE Stanford Alumni Club. He’s driven many pioneering CSR initiatives in the Arab world and is an original member of the United Nations ICT (UNICT) Arab Task Force and the Young Arab Leaders organization. 
Dr.Girish Mallapragada
Girish Mallapragada is currently Assistant Professor of Marketing at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Prior to this he served in a similar capacity for four years at Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Mallapragada’s research is on new product development & pricing specifically in the context of open innovation,  social networks and marketing strategy.His research has been published in the prestigious journal Management Science. He received his PhD in Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University, and his MBA in marketing and information systems from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University. Before joining the academic fraternity, Dr. Mallapragada worked in enterprise sales for Pramati Technologies, an IT infrastructure software vendor where he helped expand operations and sign up several strategic partners.
Omar J. Sati
 

Omar has over eleven years experience in the Finance and Banking sectors, two of which were with Merrill Lynch in London and Dubai prior to joining Capital Bank of Jordan in 2001. Mr. Sati was eventually appointed Vice President – Corporate Finance within Capital Investments, the Investment Banking arm of Capital Bank, executing a number of transactions ranging from mergers & acquisitions, IPOs, private equity placements and syndicated loan arrangements, both in Jordan and the MENA region. Omar holds an MBA from Cass Business School, London, UK and a BSc (Management) in Finance from Tulane University in the US. He is a licensed Investment Advisor & Issue Manager by the Jordan Securities Commission and the Amman Stock Exchange.

 

Narendra Naram
 

With over 15-years experience in IT consulting, infrastructure development and the realty sector, Naren has worked across a spectrum of industries and verticals. Starting off his career with Motorola, the past 15 years he has helped successfully set-up, guide and mentor several early stage ventures to multi-million dollar firms and serves on their Board of Directors as well as their investor & promoter. His expertise lies in negotiating and successfully implementing enterprise level and quasi-government projects in emerging markets.  Naren holds a Post Graduate Degree in Management and Business.
